Amazon’s Top Digital SLR Cameras, Lenses & Books for 2008

Amazon.com is one of the internet’s most popular stores. Their comprehensive collection of just about anything you could want to be coupled with a great website, and their algorithm based display of items that you could be interested in making it a wonderful place to shop online, and a place to discover things you never knew existed (well … maybe).

  1. What do you think the best DSLR camera is? Just cause Amazon users want it doesn’t mean the best.Do you think DSLR cameras are worth the price? This site lists some info [link not working] but looking for other opinions. Thoughts? Thanks

    There are many opinions out there about which the best dSLR could be. In my way of thinking, however, there is no such thing. There is only
    a) What you need, and
    b) What you can afford

    I believe that this list is a combination of both these factors, along with a dash of ‘aspiration’. To me, it is a list of cameras that people want to own, and if they have the money, will.

    I hope that this is a guiding principle for some, when they decide to buy their cameras, and not ‘Megapixels’.
